GAL will put the new MOVFR into full production on Aug 29th, 2005. Customers may want to take this into account when planning for installations that will spread out over several months - so that all door equipment on any given job is identical. The parameter tool for the new version is different from the old tool, and can not be used with the older model.

If you have deliveries destined for a single job that will span the Sept 1st changeover date, we can and will accommodate, by providing either all traditional MOVFR units, or all of the new design. Just please let GAL know your wishes when the job is ordered.

If you have a job where the new features would be particularly beneficial, there are limited numbers of the new design MOVFR available today. Pricing has not changed, and until Jan 1st, 2006, we will include the new parameter unit at no charge with each order.
