Made from heavy mass cast aluminum and cold rolled steel, our clutch is designed for millions of repeated retractions and actuations. It extends at start of opening cycle, to capture the hoistway door roller release, and retracts out of range of the rollers when door is fully closed. The LWZ clutch includes a door locking device that automatically, without external assistance, prevents opening of the car door when the car is outside the door zone in compliance with Code.
